To start off my 11th year in business right, I've decided to highlight a different charitable cause each month and donate a percentage of my proceeds to that cause. I've always been happy to help out with different fundraisers and donations whenever asked, but I want to be more deliberate and regular in my efforts from now on. So, for May 2013, I'm donating 5% of my sales to Jake's Diapers For Peru. This is a new effort started by Jake's Mom, Stephanie Bowers, who visited an orphanage in Peru. She was dismayed to find that they were having to re-use disposable diapers (yuck!!), so she and her friend Ann have decided to do something about it. The are going to provide the orphanage with cloth diapers they can hand wash! She started her facebook page and is collecting diapers and donations, so please help spread the word. And this month, 5% of your purchases from Little Boppers will go to help this effort.
